- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Press the firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2 thick slices.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the tofu slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated tofu slices on it.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden and slightly crisp.
