- Green onions - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm cubes.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red chili flakes.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to ensure they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the marinated tofu cubes evenly on the sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden brown and slightly crispy.
