Ingredients

  • Fresh Spinach - 300 grams
  • Sesame Paste (Tahini) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cream Cheese - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese - 30 grams (optional for topping)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Squeeze out excess water from the spinach and chop it coarsely.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the sesame paste, soy sauce, cream cheese, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  5. Add the chopped spinach to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  6. Transfer the spinach mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle black sesame seeds and grated Parmesan cheese (if using) on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the top is slightly golden and bubbly.
