- Fresh Spinach - 300 grams
- Sesame Paste (Tahini) - 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Cream Cheese - 100 grams
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Grated Parmesan Cheese - 30 grams (optional for topping)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the spinach for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Squeeze out excess water from the spinach and chop it coarsely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sesame paste, soy sauce, cream cheese, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Add the chopped spinach to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the spinach mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle black sesame seeds and grated Parmesan cheese (if using) on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the top is slightly golden and bubbly.
