Ingredients

  • Lemon - 1, sliced
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Shiso leaves (or substitute with basil) - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Pat the saba fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with sea salt. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to allow the salt to penetrate.
  3. Place the salted saba fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, skin side down.
