- salmon fillets - 2 (about 150g each)
- white miso paste - 3 tablespoons
- mirin - 2 tablespoons
- soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- honey - 1 tablespoon
- sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
- fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- lime wedges - for serving
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix the white miso paste, mirin, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and grated ginger until well combined to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the tray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
