- Sake - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a bowl, mix together the white miso paste, mirin, sake, sugar, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
- Place the cod fillets in a shallow dish and coat them with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Remove the cod from the marinade and place it on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
