Ingredients

  • Spaghetti - 150 grams
  • Mentaiko (cod roe) - 100 grams
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Cream cheese - 50 grams
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 50 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mentaiko, heavy cream, cream cheese, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the mentaiko mixture and toss until the pasta is well coated.
  5. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and serve garnished with additional green onions if desired.
