Ingredients
- Ayu fish - 2 whole (about 200g each)
- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon - 1, cut into wedges
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Clean the Ayu fish by removing the insides and rinsing them under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Sprinkle the sea salt evenly inside and outside of the fish, allowing it to sit for about 15 minutes to enhance the flavor.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the Ayu fish on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until the skin is crispy and the fish is cooked through.
- Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the grilled Ayu fish on plates, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
