Ingredients

  • Ayu fish - 2 whole (about 200g each)
  • Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon - 1, cut into wedges
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Clean the Ayu fish by removing the insides and rinsing them under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Sprinkle the sea salt evenly inside and outside of the fish, allowing it to sit for about 15 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the grill with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place the Ayu fish on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until the skin is crispy and the fish is cooked through.
  5. Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve the grilled Ayu fish on plates, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
