  • Fish stock - 500 ml
  • White wine - 100 ml
  • Fresh basil - 5 leaves, torn
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cod fillet - 150 grams, cut into chunks
  • Mussels - 200 grams, cleaned
  • Shrimp - 150 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Clams - 100 grams, cleaned
  • Lemon - 1, cut into wedges for serving

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, chopped shallots, and red chili flakes, and sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  2. Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  4. Add the fish stock and bring to a gentle boil. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Reduce heat and add the cod chunks, mussels, shrimp, and clams to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mussels and clams open and the shrimp is cooked through.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the torn basil and chopped parsley.
  7. Serve the soup hot in bowls, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
