  • Chickpea flour - 80 grams
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and red onion.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chickpea flour, water, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  3. Add the sliced potatoes and onions to the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  5. Pour half of the potato mixture into the skillet, spreading it evenly.
  6. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip it over using a plate.
  7. Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet and cook the other side for another 10-12 minutes.
  8. Once cooked, transfer to a plate and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
