  • Tomato sauce - 100g
  • Mozzarella cheese (dairy-free) - 100g
  • Sliced bell peppers - 50g
  • Sliced red onion - 50g
  • Cooked chicken breast, shredded - 100g
  • Fresh basil leaves - 5g

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder, mixing well.
  3. Add the egg and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a round shape, about 1/2 cm thick.
  5. Transfer the flattened dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the sliced bell peppers, red onion, and shredded chicken.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
