Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder, mixing well.
- Add the egg and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a round shape, about 1/2 cm thick.
- Transfer the flattened dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the sliced bell peppers, red onion, and shredded chicken.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
