Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 150 grams
  • Tapioca flour - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • White wine - 60 ml
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - as needed

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, tapioca flour, salt, fennel seeds, and black pepper.
  3. Add the olive oil and white wine to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. If the dough is too crumbly, add a little water, one tablespoon at a time, until it holds together.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a rope, about 15 cm long.
  6. Shape each rope into a circle and pinch the ends together to form a ring.
  7. Place the taralli on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
