- Almond flour - 150 grams
- Tapioca flour - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- White wine - 60 ml
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - as needed
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, tapioca flour, salt, fennel seeds, and black pepper.
- Add the olive oil and white wine to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- If the dough is too crumbly, add a little water, one tablespoon at a time, until it holds together.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a rope, about 15 cm long.
- Shape each rope into a circle and pinch the ends together to form a ring.
- Place the taralli on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
