Ingredients

  • Gluten-free tagliatelle - 200 grams
  • Ground beef - 150 grams
  • Ground pork - 150 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Carrot - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Celery - 1 stalk, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Canned crushed tomatoes - 400 grams
  • Red wine - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh basil - 5 leaves, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese - for serving

Steps

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, celery, and garlic, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef and ground pork to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Pour in the red wine and allow it to simmer until mostly evaporated, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, basil, salt, and black pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. While the sauce is simmering, cook the gluten-free tagliatelle according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the ragù sauce has thickened, adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve the sauce over the tagliatelle, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
