- Portobello mushrooms - 4 large
- Ground beef (or turkey) - 200 grams
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Clean the Portobello mushrooms, remove the stems, and set the caps aside.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley until well combined.
- Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet and drizzle the remaining olive oil over them.
- Spoon the meat and cheese mixture generously into each mushroom cap.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
