Ingredients

  • Portobello mushrooms - 4 large
  • Ground beef (or turkey) - 200 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Clean the Portobello mushrooms, remove the stems, and set the caps aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley until well combined.
  6. Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet and drizzle the remaining olive oil over them.
  7. Spoon the meat and cheese mixture generously into each mushroom cap.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
