Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a baking dish, create a bed of sea salt, using about 250 grams to fully cover the bottom.
- Place the mackerel fillets on the salt bed, skin side down.
- Sprinkle the fresh rosemary over the fish, and then cover the mackerel with the remaining sea salt, ensuring it is completely sealed.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before carefully removing the salt crust.
- Serve the mackerel with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
