Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sausage to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the sausage is cooking, slice the red and yellow bell peppers into strips.
- Once the sausage is browned, add the bell peppers to the skillet along with the dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
