Steps

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the Italian sausage to the skillet, breaking it into smaller pieces with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
