Ingredients

  • Italian sausages - 4 links (approx. 400g)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Crusty Italian bread - 2 slices

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the Italian sausages to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Place the marinated sausages on the grill, cooking for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
  5. While the sausages are grilling, toast the slices of crusty Italian bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden.
  6. Once the sausages are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the grilled sausages with toasted bread and any remaining marinade drizzled on top.
