- Cauliflower - 1 medium head
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the bottom to create a flat surface.
- Slice the cauliflower into 1.5 cm thick steaks; you should get about 2-3 steaks depending on the size of the head.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
- While the cauliflower is roasting, mix the grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
- Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan mixture on top.
- Serve the roasted cauliflower steaks warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
