- Fresh basil - a handful, chopped
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped red onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the diced bell pepper and zucchini, cooking for another 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- Stir in the Arborio rice, coating it with the oil and vegetables for about 2 minutes.
