  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Burrata cheese - 150 grams
  • Black olives - 50 grams, pitted and sliced
  • Fresh basil - a handful, torn
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°C (482°F) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the halved cherry tomatoes with minced garlic, a tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, about 10-12 inches in diameter.
  4. Transfer the rolled dough to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
  5. Spread the marinated cherry tomatoes evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Scatter the sliced black olives over the tomatoes.
  7. Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately tear the burrata cheese over the top.
  10. Drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
