Ingredients
- Pork loin - 300 grams
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Lemon wedges - for serving
Steps
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- While the skillet is heating, slice the pork loin into two equal cutlets, about 1 cm thick.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, combine almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, and dried oregano.
- Dip each pork cutlet first into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then dredge in the almond flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully place the breaded cutlets in the skillet, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the cutlets from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel while you prepare the second batch, adding more olive oil if necessary.
- Serve the Pork Loin Milanese with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
