Ingredients

  • Pork chops - 2 (about 200g each)
  • Gorgonzola cheese - 100g, crumbled
  • Heavy cream - 150ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the pork chops in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach a golden brown color and an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside on a plate to rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and chopped rosemary, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Add the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese to the cream and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the Gorgonzola sauce over them, and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to warm through.
  9. Serve the pork chops hot, drizzled with the creamy Gorgonzola sauce.
