- Whole wheat breadcrumbs - 50 grams

- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Canned crushed tomatoes - 200 grams
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, whole wheat breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the meatballs with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by heating the crushed tomatoes in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the Italian seasoning and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Once the meatballs are done, serve them hot with the tomato sauce drizzled on top.
