- Ground chicken - 400 grams
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Canned crushed tomatoes - 200 grams
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 4 cm in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on all sides.
- While the meatballs are cooking, in a separate saucepan, combine the crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Once the meatballs are cooked through, pour the tomato sauce over them in the skillet. Cover and let simmer together for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
