- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30g
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100g (preferably low-carb)
- Salami (sliced) - 50g
- Black olives (sliced) - 30g
- Bell pepper (sliced) - 50g
- Fresh basil leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, baking powder, oregano, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and olive oil together, then add to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a 1cm thick pizza base.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and shape it into a circle or rectangle.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base.
- Top with sliced salami, black olives, and bell pepper.
- Sprinkle additional mozzarella on top and return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve.
