  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Zucchini - 150 grams, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Spread the sautéed zucchini evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the zucchini.
  8. Add the halved cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and slice into portions to serve.
