Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 400 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 150 grams
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Fresh basil leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam until tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the steamed cauliflower and let it cool slightly, then use a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
  6. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden and firm.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with olive oil before serving.
