  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese - 150 grams
  • Speck - 100 grams
  • Arugula - 40 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness (about 0.5 cm).
  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Tear the fresh mozzarella into smaller pieces and distribute them evenly on top of the sauce.
  6. Layer the speck slices on top of the mozzarella, followed by sprinkling dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
  10. Top the pizza with fresh arugula and drizzle with olive oil before slicing and serving.
