  • Fresh porcini mushrooms - 150 grams, sliced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese - 125 grams, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 leaves
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced porcini mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the whole wheat pizza dough to your desired thickness, about 0.5 cm.
  5. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the dough with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
  7. Layer the fresh mozzarella slices evenly over the dough, followed by the sautéed porcini mushrooms.
  8. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
