Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Crushed red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves - a handful for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then drain and set aside.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 25 cm round.
  4. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, nutritional yeast, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  6. Spread the garlic oil mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Distribute the blanched broccoli and halved cherry tomatoes evenly on top of the pizza.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
