- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Crushed red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then drain and set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 25 cm round.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, nutritional yeast, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Spread the garlic oil mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
- Distribute the blanched broccoli and halved cherry tomatoes evenly on top of the pizza.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
