- Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful, for garnish
- Salt - to taste

Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
- In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the canned diced tomatoes, dried oregano, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone lined with parchment paper.
