- Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced

- Fresh basil - a handful
- Balsamic glaze - for drizzling
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the warm water with the active dry yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Once the dough has risen, gently stretch it out on the prepared baking tray to fit the shape of the tray.
- Top the stretched dough with the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced zucchini, diced red bell pepper, and sliced red onion evenly across the surface.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the vegetables.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with balsamic glaze before slicing into squares and serving.
