  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salami slices - 100 grams
  • Tomato sauce (no sugar added) - 100 grams
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil leaves - a handful (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (430 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, microwave the mozzarella and cream cheese for 30 seconds until melted. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and olive oil to the melted cheese mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the almond flour mixture to the cheese mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  6. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Using your hands, shape it into a pizza crust about 0.5 cm thick.
  7. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over it.
  9. Top the sauce with salami slices and sprinkle oregano on top.
  10. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the salami is slightly crispy and the cheese is melted.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
