- Tomato sauce (no sugar added) - 100 grams
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (430 degrees Fahrenheit).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, microwave the mozzarella and cream cheese for 30 seconds until melted. Stir until smooth.
- Add the egg and olive oil to the melted cheese mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the almond flour mixture to the cheese mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Using your hands, shape it into a pizza crust about 0.5 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over it.
- Top the sauce with salami slices and sprinkle oregano on top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the salami is slightly crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
