  • 100 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 50 grams cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat, and spread the basil pesto evenly over the chicken breasts.
