Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Wash the red bell peppers and cut them in half lengthwise, removing the seeds and stems.
- Place the halved peppers on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Peel and thinly slice the garlic cloves, then sprinkle them evenly over the peppers.
- Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the peppers, then season with salt and black pepper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and slightly charred.
- Once roasted, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Chop the fresh basil and sprinkle it over the roasted peppers before serving.
