Ingredients

  • Gluten-free penne pasta - 200 grams
  • Smoked salmon - 100 grams, sliced
  • Heavy cream - 150 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated (optional)

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free penne pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Add the smoked salmon, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir gently to combine and heat through for another 2 minutes.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it directly to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy salmon sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
