- Cuttlefish (seppie) - 200 grams, cleaned and cut into strips
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Lemon - 1, for zest and juice
Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cuttlefish to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn opaque.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the cuttlefish and tomatoes. Toss well to combine.
- Add the chopped parsley, a squeeze of lemon juice, and lemon zest to the pasta. Toss again to incorporate.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and a lemon wedge on the side.
