  • Spaghetti - 150 grams
  • Cuttlefish (seppie) - 200 grams, cleaned and cut into strips
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon - 1, for zest and juice

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the cuttlefish to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn opaque.
  4. Stir in the cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  5. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with the cuttlefish and tomatoes. Toss well to combine.
  6. Add the chopped parsley, a squeeze of lemon juice, and lemon zest to the pasta. Toss again to incorporate.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and a lemon wedge on the side.
