- Extra virgin olive oil - 80 milliliters
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Pine nuts - 30 grams, toasted
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, prepare the Salsa Verde by combining the chopped parsley, chopped basil, minced garlic, pine nuts, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a food processor.
- With the processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.
