- Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons (optional for a cheesy flavor)
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
