Ingredients

  • Spaghetti - 160 grams
  • Swordfish steak - 200 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Dry white wine - 100 ml
  • Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Cut the swordfish steak into bite-sized pieces and add it to the skillet, cooking until it is lightly browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  6. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the alcohol to evaporate and the sauce to reduce slightly.
  7. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice, then add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet.
  8. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce and ingredients, then remove from heat.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
