- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh basil - 10 grams, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons (optional, for a cheesy flavor)
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

- Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sun-dried tomato mixture, tossing to combine and adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and stir in the fresh basil and nutritional yeast if using.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil if desired.
