Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated in the sauce.
  6. Drizzle the truffle oil over the pasta and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss again to distribute the flavors.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan and parsley if desired.
