Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- In the last 4 minutes of cooking the pasta, add the trimmed green beans to the pot.
- While the pasta and beans are cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they soften.
- Once the pasta and beans are cooked, drain them and add to the skillet with the garlic and tomatoes.
- Toss everything together, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil and nutritional yeast, if using.
