- Heavy cream - 250 ml
- Whole milk - 100 ml
- Granulated sugar - 50 grams
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Gelatin powder - 2 grams
- Cold water - 15 ml
- Fresh berries (for topping) - 50 grams
Steps
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over the cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into two individual serving cups or ramekins and let them cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, top each panna cotta with fresh berries.
