- Dried figs - 100 grams
- Dried apricots - 50 grams
- Almonds - 50 grams
- Walnuts - 50 grams
- Hazelnuts - 50 grams
- Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon
- Maple syrup - 60 ml
- Agave syrup - 30 ml
- Whole wheat flour - 30 grams
- Powdered sugar - for dusting
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a small baking dish (about 15x15 cm) with parchment paper.
- Chop the dried figs and apricots into small pieces and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped dried fruits, almonds, walnuts, and hazelnuts.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa powder, and whole wheat flour until well combined.
- Add the dry mixture to the bowl with the nuts and fruits, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine the maple syrup and agave syrup, then pour it into the dry mixture, stirring until everything is well coated.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, pressing it down firmly and evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the dish before transferring to a cutting board.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares or wedges.
