  • Butter - 30 grams (for frying)
  • Fresh strawberries - 100 grams (sliced)
  • Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Slice the panettone into thick slices, about 2-3 cm each.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 15 grams of butter.
  4. Dip each slice of panettone into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
  5. Place the soaked panettone slices in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Add the remaining butter to the skillet as needed when flipping the slices.
  7. Once cooked, remove the panettone French toast from the skillet and serve warm.
