Ingredients
- Almond flour - 100g
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150g
- Cream cheese - 50g
- Egg - 1 large
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
- Tomato sauce (no added sugar) - 100g
- Fresh mozzarella, sliced - 100g
- Fresh basil leaves - 10g
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it out into a round pizza shape, about 1cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
- Top with sliced fresh mozzarella and drizzle with olive oil.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
