Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100g
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150g
  • Cream cheese - 50g
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce (no added sugar) - 100g
  • Fresh mozzarella, sliced - 100g
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10g
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it out into a round pizza shape, about 1cm thick.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
  6. Top with sliced fresh mozzarella and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
