  • Green bell pepper, diced - 1/2 medium
  • Crushed tomatoes (canned) - 400 grams
  • Chicken broth (low sodium) - 500 ml
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Spinach, fresh - 100 grams
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - for serving (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
