Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Marinara sauce - 200 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 meatballs, roughly the size of a golf ball.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the saucepan with the marinara sauce and simmer for an additional 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
