- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Marinara sauce - 200 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 12 meatballs, roughly the size of a golf ball.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the saucepan with the marinara sauce and simmer for an additional 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
